Moving the cursor over the van picture for The Electric Bed Shop on this site works fine in Firefox but in IE8 the first part works fine but when moving off the image it then disappears and is not replaced with the original thumbnail. Any ideas?

Particularly suspicious is the dnnViewState function defined in a script block on that page. That function does a document.write and in at least one instance of IE 8 that function is firing during page load in a manner that fails and halts further parsing.

Please remove the dnnViewState script, fix the validation errors and then I bet the popup thumbnail will behave just fine.

Unfortunately this is a Joomla site and I do not have access to amend this code (even if I understood it!!).

Is there anything else that can be done?

I'm pretty sure that the problem is the broken html and the solution is to fix it.
