Is it possible to create a image cycler with tiny thumbnails associated to each picture?

The images cycle while the thumbnails highlight. You can pause the cycle with mouseover. Or skip ahead in the sequence by clicking the thumbnail.

No, sorry, Floatbox doesn't do that, and I can't think of any way that you might code it up to have other page elements integrate their behaviour with the cycle set activities.
