OK this is probably simple.... I know how to make the title of the thumbnail come up when you hover over.. I can also place a caption/title to appear when the floatbox image has expanded.

BUT

Is it possible to have the title appear under the thumbnail - displays always?
If there is an answer someplace in the forum - I hadn't seen it....

Any help?

I'm not quite sure I understand. Do you mean that you want the clickable anchor on your page to have both a thumbnail and some text? Something like:
<a href="myImage.jpg"><img src="myThumbnail.jpg" /><br />Some text goes here</a>
???
