Hello everyone,

I'm not a programmer so my code knowledge is very limited. The stuff that I have accomplished using Floatbox is the very basic stuff that all I had to do is copy the sample code on this website and change it to my own settings.

That said I need help to do a simple pop up window on page load with a close btn so the reader can close the window when done reading it. Also I assume the background will turn darker when this happens. Can you please give a sample code to do this so I can paste it on my website. Also I assume that the script that goes on the head section is the same for all Floatbox stuff?

I won't give cut-and-paste code for your site, but I will refer you to the autoStart option that's described in the Options Refrerence. That does what you are looking for.
