Take a look at this test page, on which a gallery is explicitly defined (i.e., this is not trying to use autoGallery):

At first blush, it appears to be working - if you click the first thumbnail, the expander for the video shows the prev/next arrows, as well as the on-image navigation. But now close that video, and try launching the gallery again, from any of the thumbnails. The prev/next arrows are no longer visible, nor are the on-image navigation arrows.
If you refresh the page (CTRL-F5), then launch the gallery, all is well again.
I'm not seeing any console errors.

Fixed.
Please re-download the 8.1.1 zip file. It's the same version number with an updated build date of 2018-08-19. Note also that it fixes addVideoThumb not defaulting to true, which may impact your usage. |

That seems to have cured it.
Glad you warned me about that, as the change did, indeed, clobber my app. An easy fix, but finding it would have taken me a while. |
