But clicking the images doesn't seem to close them? Thanks!

You're using floatbox version 3.24. imageClickCloses was introduced with version 3.50.

Check out the last entry in the announcements section of this forum. Floatbox 3.50 brings lots of good stuff to the table. It is no longer released as free software but now requires a purchased registration for commercial sites. You'll want to weigh the pros and cons of upgrading and registering vs. sticking with the older free version you already have.
