From reading the release notes, I expected FB to use the representing thumbnail image as the zoomSource for a video, but that doesn't appear to be the case:

If I specify zoomSource:poster, it does, indeed, use the poster image. But it never seems to use the thumbnail.

The release notes are poorly worded.
Generally, thumbnails are not used as zoomSource by default because they are usually small and look crappy when zoomed to a large oversized image. If the thumbnails are auto-added by addVideoThumb for Vimeo, YouTube, or Floatbox Player vids, oversized thumbnails are fetched and are used as the defaulted zoomSource. In other circumstances, zoomSource must be specified. |

Ah, OK, got it. And yes, thumbnails are usually a poor choice, since they don't enlarge well. In my application, there's always a nice big poster image, so zoomSource:poster takes care of things nicely.
