My client would like the next / prev overlays to show the same grayed version (opacity 0.6 I believe) all the time - whether hovering over it or not. Is there a way to apply the same opacity to the hovered version, which is 1 by default I would think.
I've hunted and hunted without finding a solution short of changing the color of overlaynext.gif and then putting the opacity in configurator to 1, which wouldn't be as elegant a solution I suppose.
Thanks for your help.
Opacity on next / prev overlays

Those overlay next and previous widgets are hard-coded to highlight by getting an opacity of 1 when hovered by the mouse. There is no settable option or css to change this highlighting behaviour. I think if you really must have semi-opaque controls when hovered, then you must modify the background graphics as you suggested.
